Java Job: Automation QA Engineer

What will you do

• Work tightly with the development team to incorporate API, structural, integration, regression functional and non-functional testing processes and tools;
• Documents software defects, track the issues and works towards resolution;
• Production deployment support and incident support.

Must haves

• 3+ years experience as Automation Quality Assurance Engineer;
• Strong understanding of the quality assurance approaches;
• Understanding of QA and AQA process, on development, CI/CD and Jira levels;
• Experience with test automation and tools such as Java with Selenium, Postman, TestNG etc;
• Experience with API testing is a must;
• Experience with source control and automated deployment tools, specifically Git and Jenkins;
• Knowledge of the data exchange formats like JSON, etc.
• Great English level and communication skills for working in an agile distributed team

About our projects

One of our experiences in Java has to do with expanding the functionality of a video conferencing app. The varied technology stack underlying this functionality includes Scala, Java, PostgreSQL, Redis, Angular, and C++.

Our team is also implementing new features for our well-known client to help connect job seekers and employers while continually improving code quality, performance and reliability of their services, systems, and user-facing applications.
