  • Experience in technical leadership, including leading project teams or setting technical direction.
  • Experience with distributed systems and architecture, and systems integration.
  • Experiencing of coding in one of the following programming languages including but not limited to: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, or Python.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Java, System Design, Go, One Platform, and Security.
  • Experience with being a technical leader for a user-facing product.

Google Cloud Anthos is a managed platform for all customer’s application deployments, both traditional and cloud native. It enables customers to build and manage global fleets and establish operational consistency across them. Anthos enables customers to manage Google Kubernetes Engine clusters and workloads running on virtual machines across environments. Customers get consistent managed Kubernetes experience with simple installs as well as upgrades validated by Google.


You would be responsible for leading our Krakow-based team of Software Engineers that deliver critical engineering components for Anthos.

You will be the Tech Lead of a team of Software Engineers working on Anthos (https://cloud.google.com/anthos) and Kubernetes (https://cloud.google.com/learn/what-is-kubernetes). You and your team will work with partners across the world.

Responsibilities

  • Drive coding, design, and development of critical production systems.
  • Work closely alongside Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and partner teams in Anthos to deliver customer impact.
  • Support and develop engineers on your team to help them further their skill set.
  • Shape the team culture.
  • Provide technical guidance to all Engineers working on building out new production services, APIs and experiences for Anthos customers.
