The Sr. Lead Developer is responsible for the creation, design, develop and update of ecommerce websites including helping to plan, develop, testing, and maintaining the corporate, dealer, and subsidiary websites. The Sr. Lead Developer lead the web development team members and works collaboratively with the Product Manager, Ecommerce, and marketing teams to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation based on target customers.
  • Develops U.S. and international websites, including UI, UX, and back-end utilizing PHP and MySQL, bootstrap, HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Develops landing pages and new website content, which includes day-to-day website updates of promotions, product launches, and marketing initiatives to ensure smooth, efficient, and time-sensitive product and marketing launches.
  • Supports digital production of web assets inclusive of marketing tools, analytics tagging, and linking strategy, to be featured on category landing pages, product pages, online shopping tools.
  • Supports and executes improvements to navigation, site search and filtering to improve ease of product discovery.
  • Designs and manages the company product database supporting the website in various languages.
  • Manages the websites’ code base and ensures the development team is adhering to coding standards that focuses on performance, security, and ease of maintenance.
  • Supports eCommerce store launch, development, content updates, and optimization for conversion.
  • Collaborates with the eCommerce, Marketing, and IT teams on various site projects and updates.
  • Integrates website with third party solutions providers and provides oversight, and on-going maintenance.
  • Works with internal and external resources to optimize content according to SEO/SEM standard best practices; utilizes knowledge of search engine analytics to maximize traffic to websites.
  • Troubleshoots website problems and ensures data integrity for the public facing, vendor websites as well as managing our internal Product Information system.
  • Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance with the job.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, preferred.
  • Advanced experience in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and bootstrap.
  • Experience working with AWS, Github, Google Tag Manager, React.js or vue.js , SOAP & Rest API
  • Experience with UI/UX design and Adobe Photoshop.
  • An understanding of working in Agile development and the source control practices.
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies and deliver measurable results in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, business analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  • Advanced debugging and optimization skills.

  • Actively supports and complies with objectives, guidelines and commitment to Quality and Safety, with an emphasis on continual improvement.
  • Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels.
  • Must have the ability to complete assignments within the timeframe specified by the Manager.
  • Must be flexible regarding working hours. Must be able to work evenings and weekends if required.
  • Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Must be able to travel, nationally and internationally, as necessary.
